    Hi there,

     

    Previously, I had no problem in verrification when I picked sitemap. However, after I changed my selection to meta tags, and pasted the required text into <head> section of my homepage, I encountered verification error. Now, I can't go anywhere due to this problem, may I know how could I re-select sitemap instead of meta tag in order to overcome this problem.

    Hi,

     

    Sorry for the delay. You can change to the XML file, however, you will have to delete and then re-add your site in webmaster tools. Note that this does not change actual Live Search indexing.

    MSN provides me the following text:

    <meta name="msvalidate.01" content="0873EC296F594AD58980AA29578D045F" />

     

    I actually read some message posted in the forum and I changed the text into the following:

    &lt;meta name=&quot;msvalidate.01&quot; content=&quot;0873EC296F594AD58980AA29578D045F&quot;/&gt;

    However, I still have the verification problem. Am I doing the right thing?

    Can I re-select sitemap if I can't pass through this stage?
