Problem with Genuine Validation RRS feed

    Hi, recently I bought new RAM and a new ATI Radeon 1650 video card for my pc and I have installed and just today I went to download some microsoft files to update my system but ran into a problem.  The validation says my copy of windows is not "genuine".

    I have tried activating over phone by running "slui 4" in the command prompt, the activation worked but when I visit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine and I click on "Validate Windows" I encounter the error [0xc004c4a6]!

     

    Please help!

    Since you're tried phone activation and you’re still reaching the same validation failure page (with error code 0xC004C4A6), please open a free service request by visiting: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?c1=509&gprid=9860 and post your confirmation number here.  I'll contact you directly so we can figure out the cause of your issue. 

     If you're not in the US, please also post the name of the support agent who contacts you by e-mail once you've made the free service request.

    I changed nothing but the memory timings and now I also have a "This copy of Windows is not Genuine" and I don't get a response from Microsoft in my part of this world.

     

    You can phone them too - Wow. Suppose I can phone their number too - But nobody answers.

     

    Mine is also activated, and I know it is Genuine. I was there when it was unsealed and it has never left my possesion since and I will not just buy another KEY - April 01 is long gone and why should I pay more - again - Mine is legal and if it tells me someone else is using my Key then it can only be sourced through the microsoft system unless Casper krept in here without leaving a trail and only to get my key, he left the disk behind... the dumbo. ...unless he left behind a Genuine Replica... HA HA.

    Please post the results of the WGA diagnostics tool (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012) with any new question. 

     

    Please also post the error code you get (if any) when you validate by clicking "Validate Windows" here: www.microsoft.com/genuine
    The error code will be gray and in brackets at the end of the message on the page that says validation failed.  (It'll look something like this:  [0xC004C000]).
