    i tried to download a template and it said have a genuine copy and the copy it stated was home and student 2007 when iu installed office professional 2007.

    Based on your diagnostic results you currently have two versions of Office installed. Please see below:

    Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 - 100 Genuine

        Computer manufacturers often install a trial version of Microsoft Office which usually is Home and Student 2007.  Customers are authorized X amount of launches prior the trial version falls into a Reduced Function Mode (RFM).  Please uninstall Home and Student 2007 and restart your system.  If you are getting a prompt to type in a Product Key when opening a Microsoft Office program, it is likely the trial period is over and you'll need to purchase a license (product key) for Microsoft Office. 

     

    The product key affixed to your computer is for Windows Vista (the operating system) and not for Microsoft Office.  Please review the following:
