Reports within iFrames do not complete processing in IE after applying latest 2015 patch RRS feed

  • Question

  • We deployed the following update for CRM  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3075889/update-0.2-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2015

Post upgrade all reports being displayed within an iFrame render, but the spinning dots and "Processing request" continue to be displayed. The scroll bars do not show up and you cannot click on any of the header report controls. I can click the link to open it in a separate window and it works fine. This also works fine in Chrome and Firefox.

    Has anyone seen this? Thanks,

    Kevin

  • The answer to this issue was to run CRM 2015 in IE 10 mode. Not the answer from MS by the way, just what we figured out. Yuk!

  • It's the optional windows updates out yesterday.  So whatever OS you have

    Windows 7

    Windows 10 etc etc

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4022168 Windows 7

MU or WSUS will have them.

"Addressed an issue where Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge printing from a frame may result in 404 not found or blank page printed."

  • Thanks for the feedback. We are on Win7 so we installed https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4022168 but unfortunately it did not solve our issue. We are not able to get to the print icon as the report continues to spin as shown in the screen shot above. Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • I'd open a case with Microsoft.  That's all I have for potential fixes.
