CRM 2011 Incoming status: failure.... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Name: Consulting Support
Incoming Status: Failure - The specified object was not found in the store. Verify that the specified user credentials have Receive permission on the target mailbox. The request failed with the error message:--<head><title>Document Moved</title></head>
    <body><h1>Object Moved</h1>This document may be found <a HREF="here</body">https://mail.XXXXX.com/owa/">here</a></body>--.

I am trying to configure incoming e-mail.

Can you give me step by step, how to fix this error?

    What I know is:
This is not a typo, not hidden e-mail address
Tried using domain admin account permissions  for the other specified credentials, in the configuration profile
    We tried different urls

What do we need to configure in the Exchange server 2010?
Do we need to add a smtp connector or some other connector?

    best regards,
    Olafur Johannsson

  • Please check whether you have tried the following method:
    • Assigned the Exchange Impersonation permission for that specific user on all the mailboxes that this Incoming Profile will serve (Exchange Impersonation Permissions on self is not required).

The issue might also be caused by

    • Incorrect EWS URL
    • ambiguous entries with the domain name
    You could try:
    • Run the command get-WebServicesVirtualDirectory on the exchange server to find the correct EWS URL
    • This was resolved with changing the format of the account on the incoming profile from domain\name to User Principal Name of name@domain
If the issue still cannot be resolved, please log a support ticket to CRM support team.
