Recertification Requirements RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I wrote and passed 70-246 and 70-247 for Private Cloud in 2013 and then write and pass the requirements for MCSA Server 2012 this year at what point do I need to recertify for Private Cloud?  Next year based on when I wrote the Private Cloud exams or three years from now based on when I wrote the MCSA Server 2012 exams?  If I understand the certifications correctly I would hold a MCTS Private Cloud in 2013 and now hold a MCSE Private Cloud.  Thanks!

  • To dissipate all doubts, view your Transcript at the MCP site, and examine the "Inactive Date" entry at the right of your certification. You need to recertify before that date.

  • Thanks Alberto, but I only see inactive date beside my original MCP.  None of the other certs have an inactive date shown.

Too quick on the draw.  I see it now.  Thanks again Alberto.
