  • Trying to install Essentials i am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, download fine but when i go to install it, it come up with Windows did not pass genuine validation. So i go on to the link " Go online and resolve now " only to get

    Your installation is counterfeit.
     
    The motherboard appears to be a retail one - the installation Key is an OEM_SLP Key from an ASUS computer, and the motherboard is too old to support a Windows 7 OEM_SLP installation.
    The installation has been enabled by a hacker's program to circumvent the activation and validation requirements.
     
    Is there a COA sticker on the machine? If so, for what version and edition of Windows is it valid?
