hey guys, I'm having a weird prob.I can not start a service with the administrator account.I've created a service and at the installation step via installutil it asks for the username and password there i give it the administartor account and password. The service gets installed commit successfull. but when i goto start the service via SCM it gives me error 1069: The service did not start due to logon failure. I've google about it alot and everywhere i saw;the problem was pasword difference but i've tried changing my password and giving the service that password but it does not solve my prob. I'm using windows vista and i've seen in the local security policies the account is there in the logon as service group.
and the weird part is this service is running on the other machine which is having xp installed.
