Service Model for CRM Online RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

How are CRM online customers getting access to CRM specialists? Are they working through the MS partner channel or are more of them training up their own in-house support staff? I've been working in the UK on the delivery and config side of CRM for some time so would be interested in hearing how US customers of CRM Online deal with this.

    TIA

    Simon

  • MS Partner will help customer to do initial Configuration,Setup & Implementation etc. They would also give training to customer's users as well as IT help-desk. After the initial rollout customer take care of their needs like adding new user, reports or small customization changes etc. and if require they sign a support contract with partner.

  • MS CRM Partners are the primary source for consulting help, CRM Online customers locate them just as On Premise customers do.  The main service element that I'd see a difference for CRM Online vs. On Premise is that the server side installation tasks are no longer needed.
