IFD+OnPremise. IFD can authenticate, but Onpremise cannot

Question
-
I have setup an IFD+OnPremise deployement. I am running Windows server 2008, Sql server 2008, and CRM 4. I have IFD part being able to login to CRM, but the OnPremise when I am on the server I cannot authenticate. It just keeps coming back with 401.1. I am trying authenticate and domain/server admin. The user can authenticate in IFD. How can I get this working?Wednesday, December 16, 2009 4:15 PM

I fixed this by setting the onpremise of the IFD manager to "localhost:5555" and then I went to http://localhost:5555 and I was able to log into the default instance. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
On this other server that you can not login on prem. A couple questions:
- Are you logged on as a user that is setup in crm and in a security role ?
- Is the url of crm in your list of 'trusted sites' ?
- Are you crossing domains or single domain ?
- Did you do iisreset after configuring ifd with ifdtool ?

I can authenticate in IFD with the same credentials.I just added the site as a trusted site but still didn't work.I am logged onto the domain controller which is also the webserver. I have a webserver/domain controller and a sql server.I did an IISreset and didn't help.Thursday, December 17, 2009 6:06 AM

Hi,
what is the configuration of your IFD-Deployment?
Which IP-Range you use for IFD and wich range for AD?
What is the URL you use to connect to the crm with ifd and wich for connect to the crm with ad?
