    What seems to be the problem with your product key? Please runt he MGA Diagnostic tool and provide us with the resulst. This will en able us to see what your experiencing so we may forumulat an answer and provide you with a resolution.  Please follow the directions below:

     

    Download and run the utility at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 , then click the Windows tab, Copy to Clipboard, then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum.

     

    Step 2 is tell us about the COA. Tell us:


    1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center?
    2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
    3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?
    4. DO NOT post the Product Key.
    5. Please also provide a short description of the issue you are experiencing.

     

    NOTE: The data collected with the Genuine Diagnostics Tool does NOT contain any information that can personally identify you and can be fully reviewed, by you, before being posted.

  • My Windows XP version is Home Edition and it reads OEM under product ID.
    My issue that I'm experiencing is that i cant find my product key to work Microsoft Word, Excel, or Powerpoint.

  • Hello JonG9090,

     

    If you have paid for the Office Suite when you purchased your computer you should have received the product key with that, if you did not purchase the suite with your computer then most likely you have a trial version installed.  If you have lost the product key for the Office Suite which came with your machine then please call the manufacturer of your machine to obtain your product key.

  • Hello Kimberly,

     

    When you purchase Office in a store you should receive documentation with your product key, if the Office Suite was paid for with your computer then you will need to contact your computer manufacturer to obtain your product key.
