Monthly Meeting for MCC Members RRS feed

  • It's really very good for Microsoft to have a monthly meeting to announce more things to MVP members belonging to different kinds of groups. But some of my MCC members are making complains why Microsoft doesn't set up monthly meeting for them? As MCC or moderator, they think they should also have things to do to manage the forum well to ban some span-spanners, ect.

So though I'm an MVP, I also experienced this thing, it would be better for Microsoft to consider them more to assign some meetings somehow and somewhen, and set up a special tunnel for them to report things to Microsoft like that of MVP members;)

  • The MCC programme, whilst good in theory, is about to be re-launched (I believe).  It's already been an annual aware (I won two of them), then a 3-month profile award, then it went quiet for 6 months whilst the no-nomination process was implemented and now as of May, they've started awarding again.

Personally, I'd like to see some consistency within the programme before monthly communications, meetings and the like are set-out.  I don't know if it's clashed with the MVP programme, has has to be rejigged due to internal politics or what, but I still think it could be a hugely credible programme if it was given a good foundation.

  • Greetings all!

Let me introduce myself, my name is Jennifer Paige and I am an Engagement Manager here at Microsoft. I am reasonably new to the position so I have not yet had time to stop in and introduce myself.

The MCC award is in transition its true, we are looking at ways to re-engage with the MCCs in our communities and hope to build a more consistent stronger foundation in the near future.

I just wanted to make sure to let you know that we are working on it!

Thank you for taking the time to post your concerns.
