My Genuine Windows - Vista Home Premium is telling me it's not genuine (build 6002).

Question
-
Just wanted to check that my problem is the same as one I read earlier - I was going to attempt what had been recommended but then I found a few people who had different responses. Please advise. This came after I had been under attack from various trojans and other viruses. My laptop (Dell) has not been able to take the more recent Windows updates, so I thought I would try again after scanning my hard drive. It took the update but now says in the bottom right corner that my copy of windows isn't genuine ;-/ and since we have just moved house I am not entirely sure where my product key is?!
Also if I have to activate by phone is there a UK number?
Katy

Your system appears to have activated Okay - but does have some problem with validation.I suggest that you attempt manual validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate and see if it passes. If so, great - if not you should be offered a reason, and a link to the Diagnostics. Take that, and follow the advice there. When you get 'all green' tray validation again.Post back with your results, and a new MGADiag report.
