Live Mesh, Dead Support RRS feed

  • How is that six weeks have passed since the release of the most recent update and that no one has answered my inquiry (submitted multiple times on this forum and at Microsoft Dis-Connect)?

    I realize Live Mesh is in beta, but this has got to be the buggiest beta I have ever worked with.

    My problem?  "Live Mesh is currently starting" on two Windows XP machines.

    Their answer?  Submit logs . . . we're working on it . . .

    I've recommend Live Mesh to friends, colleagues, and family for its convenience and accessibility.  But ever since the so-called upgrade, I have been telling people to avoid it.  Simply put, it does not work like it should, and Microsoft's help is totally underwhelming. 

    Hello Live Mesh support?  Still out there?

    I'm sorry that you feel you haven't been receiving proper support from the Live Mesh team, and we do understand your frustration.  Unfortunately, the problem that you're experiencing (Live Mesh won't start) is actually a multitude of problems (manifesting in the same way), not all of them solely issues with Live Mesh.  And we have, in fact, resolved some of these issues - but obviously not all of them.  Resolving the remaining issues is, however, one of our highest priorities.

    I can assure you that we are working very hard to get Live Mesh functioning properly for all of our customers.  At this time, though, I'm afraid all I can do is ask for your continued patience.
