Hi, i am trying to activate my Home premium licence on my laptop (retail). I had to do a clean install and have completed this, but when i go to activate it, or change to another HP key i get the error code 0x8007000D from the activation screen on windows.

Thank you for visiting our forum today. Are you using a retail version of Vista or the OEM recovery media which came with your Acer computer. What product key are you using: the one from the bottom of your computer or the key which came with the retail version of Vista?

Hi Stephen,
I have both keys so can use either retail of OEM key on laptop. I tried both keys and none of them work for activation. Any help would be appreciated.
