problem with latest update to one care RRS feed

  • Question

  • I don't have a network set up and I don't want to network my computers! After that new update, every time I boot up.it asks me to set up my network. I don't want that *** popping up every time I turn my computer on.At least I didn't have that problem with Norton or McAfee, If you can make it go away you can have your program back. This is a crock trying to make the customer set up something they don't want. Thank You

  • Since you are connected to the Internet, you are on a network. Simply respond to the prompt from OneCare and follow the steps to identify that your network connection is Public. Alternatively, while connected to the Internet, open OneCare, click Change Settings, then click the Configure Firewall button. Click the Change Location button until it shows "Public."

If you are connected to the Internet through a router, your Location should be Home or Work.
