  • I've asked them to start to engage us in announcement forum again. They said they would but no timeline. I've just asked again now.

  • 5 minutes to load.  I guess this is MS's way of advertising their great web server technology.  There is just so much wrong with these forums.

  • Of course I post the above and the service is gone again.

The search service is down. Please link directly to threads and come back later.

One great way to get around it is to link (oh there is no more browse) where are you MS employees?  Fixing the problem?  I think not!!!

  • Been down all day.  Guess that says it all.  No replies from MS says it all.

MS has declared how little it cares about developers.

    Hi,

More than just these forums... Just see these forums, onedrive, the explorer in windows10 etc...

These forums have been great, a couple of years ago, quite fast, friendly looking, with a lot of participants.

SkyDrive was good also, friendly, with detail pages for all items etc...

    I'm really disappointed...

    Regards,

      Thorsten

  • If you have any issues with the forums you could either write an email to fissues at microsoft dot com or/and report it in the following forum: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=reportabug

But please don't report forum issues in the product forums. The forums support team are not monitoring the WPF forum for reported forum issues.

    Hope that helps.

Please remember to close your threads by marking helpful posts as answer and then start a new thread in an appropriate forum if you have a new question. Please don't ask several questions in the same thread.

  • Per this blog post, the issue was reported, acknowledged, and resolved on Dec. 1:

Also discussed in this forum thread:

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/2cc88dac-1ac3-4da8-87e1-4a7d465fe5cb/the-search-service-is-down-please-link-directly-to-threads-and-come-back-later?forum=reportabug

As noted, when there is a problem with the forum, best is to email: fissues [at] microsoft [dot] com. Reporting in the Forum Issues forum is also useful.

  • Define "really".

  • in actual fact, as opposed to what is said or imagined to be true or possible
