Need help bad, I'm blaming microsoft. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Yeah I got that dreaded not validated *** everyone gets yet I can't seem to find a salution for my own problem.

    Error code [0x80070426]

See all the fixes you guys have are for people who have a start bar, I no longer have one, and ctrl + alt + del no longer works either, and if I close firefox it takes me back to the freaking password box to login to windows. I have Vista Home Basic.

Not sure of what's wrong, but I'd enjoy a fix that doesn't include formating...

Oh and before you ask what program I installed before this happened. It was the latest window vista update from the microsoft site, ironic huh?
