How do I view top answerers?

Question
-
In the page Forums Help (FAQ) (en-US) in the paragraph How do I view top answerers? it is suggested to type in the user name and then click search.
If I do this, I won’t find the top answerers, instead I’ll find the user whose name I already know.
Did I understand something wrong ?
Answeres will be appreciated.

To add a bit to Dave's answer, when I look in the right margin of a forum in the new metro-ized format, all I see is: Recent Visitors. By clicking on the Next at the far right (note that Next is not always presented as a link, plain dark grey text), I then see Recent Moderators and then Top Answerers.
