Individual components of Windows Update

Question
-
I know about Windows Updates and how to review the Update History. What I don't know is- when Windows DOES update, how do I know which individual components are being updated and how can I view them? I know about apps - but they only show up AFTER the update is complete. Windows Updates MAY tell you that updates are available. They will give the version and build- but how do you know what is contained in each build? There are sometimes issues with drivers among other things. I want to be able to prevent that. In other words, I KNOW Windows will update, but I want to know what is being updated.
I hope this makes sense.

Hi martinanisko,
In advance, sorry if I misunderstand your question.
I suppose Windows Update Agent would work to determine which components would be applicable and be downloaded into each computer.
Please refer to the following article:
Windows Update Agent API
