    I think it will be decided by the admin or the group which is resonsible for control and co-ordination of imagine cup.

    you have to select your own mentor, may be a professor / teacher from your college will suffice.

    The Mentor is ur HOD/any faculty from college. But keep in ur mind that this mentor can provide only help and guides u, but not technical support for coding etc.
