Build 6002 This copy of Windows is not genuine RRS feed

  • For a while now I have had a message at the bottom of my desktop telling me my copy of windows is not genuine i have tried to fix thsi with a full system restore but the problem reoccurred i have also tried a partial system restore and some other possible solution i have read on the web with no luck. i have also been unaible to update but i assume this is because of the not genuine message.

    The only thing I see wrong is that Windows doesn't appear to be activated.

    Notification Reason: 0xC004F009 (grace time expired).

    What happens when you do an Activation by Phone.
    (If you can't find how to start the Activate by Phone wizard, click the Start button and type: slui 4   hit enter and then follow the directions)
