Permissions Required to create Business Units in CRM RRS feed

  • I need to create a Custom role who would be responsible to create Child Business Units in their Own Business Unit only. what Security roles permissions are required. Please reply.

  • Create a new security role > Go into the Business Management tab > Give Create/Read/Write/Append/AppendTo privileges.

  • It does not work as it keeps on giving error Access denied for CRM object. even I tried giving Organization level permissions On BU

  • That error says ObjectTypeCode: 9, which is the Team entity, it also says AccessRights: ReadAccess. Try giving read access to the Team entity on that security role.

  • Role already have Business Unit level Read permission on Team entity

  • Have you tried giving all green until it allows you to create the business unit as expected then taking privileges away until you find the right balance?

  • Yes I have tried giving all greens to Teams and Business Units. does it depend on some other object as well?

  • Hi, yes it does, when crm gives you the error see what the "ObjectTypeCode" is to find out which entity you need additional permissions in.

  • Yes it depends upon queue entity as well. As it has to creare defuakt queues for teams
