Changed My pc now windows not activating RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I upgraded my pc yesterday after 4 years. Got a new mobo ,processor, ram and graphics card. I purchased Windows 7 home premium about a 3 months back. Now on reinstalling windows i cannot activate my windows. When i try activating by phone after giving my installing key it say there is a technical fault please call later. This has happenend 3 times already. My report is below. plzz Help

    when i press 0 it says this not a valid option.

    "aaahhh i had to wait 3 times when the automated voice repeated the menu and then she said press 1 to contact a customer care. I don't understand why couldn't they add an option to speak to operator. Well its not business hours in my country rite now. I will contact them tomorrow and then update the situation. "

  • try it this way:

    How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) Click Start, and in the Search box type:   slui.exe  4

    2) Next press the 'ENTER' key

    3) Select your 'Country' from the list.

    4) Choose the 'Phone Activation' option.

    5) Stay on the phone (do not respond to any of the automated prompts) and wait for a person to help you with activation.

    6) Explain your issue clearly to the support person.

  • Dear george1009,

    after selecting the country there is no option for choosing phone activation. It directly gives me my installation id and the numbers which i have to call. On calling those numbers there is no option to contact the support person. If i donot respond to the automated person it start to repeat the options again and again.

  • Try using '0' as the option for the ansafone - this sometimes will go directly to the operator
