CRM 2011 Outlook Client, on premise - error expanding Notes section on CRM forms RRS feed

    as per title, CRM 2011 Outlook Client (on premise deployment) generates ActiveX error/warning when expanding Notes section on CRM forms (all). It also occurs when Notes section is expanded by default for a giving form. In this case error happens when loading a form.

    The strange is that it does not happen trying the same in a web browser. In addition, it was tested with fresh vanilla CRM Organizations, no customization at all and the issue is still there.
    Our computers are on quite locked up domain however CRM site runs in Intranet zone and execution of ActiveX is allowed. On the other hand I can't find any ActiveX references looking at the form source code.

    This affect computers with CRM Client Rollup 15 and Server Rollup 15. The error does not happen when running Client Rollup 15 and Server Rollup 11. We are in process of upgrading right now and get this issue. I know Notes section was re-design/rewritten in Rollup 12 but we could not find any details on that.

    Any help would be gladly appreciated. (Error below). Again, error only in Outlook.

    The error says:
    "One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:
    1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this oage, or
    2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the control.
    As a result, the page might not display correctly."
