CRM 2013 - Delete Attribute and it's associated attribute maps using CRM Service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We are using CRM 2013. We need to delete attribute using CRM service. We have used DeleteAttributeRequest and its deleting attribute successfully if any dependent field mappings are not available. I have some fields which have field mappings available. So how can I delete field mappings using CRM service?

  • Thanks for your reply. I have achieved this via service. For anyone's future referece, I have used RetrieveDependenciesForDeleteRequest to fetch dependent attribute Map IDs. Then I have deleted all those attribute map using service.delete method in which I have passed entity name as "attributemap" and then I have deleted attribute successfully.
