Act as Delegate for inactive users RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are using Project Server 2013.

how it is possible to Act as a Delegate for a user which is set to inactive? We cannot set the user back to "active" because the user has left the company and the Windows Logon account is invalid.

    Many thanks for your help.

  • Hello,

You can't, the user has to be active for the delegation to work as you are impersonating that user. What do you need to do as that user?

  • Thanks.

I need to submit a timesheet for the user. He has saved but not submitted before he has left the company.

Updating the Windows Logon account is also not possible, because it would change the Resource name based on the Logon account.

  • Hello,

As far as I know you will unfortunately need to make the user account active to be able to submit that timesheet.
