the multiple edit page will not allow changing the OWNER RRS feed

    I want to do a multiple edit on a group of contacts and/or leads, but the multiple edit page will not allow changing the OWNER.  Is there a solution or work-around for this.

    Changing an Owner is an action that impacts many associated records. Needless to say you can't just change a value in one field (the owner field) when changing owners. It actually requires a reassign.

    You can also use a workflow rule to possibly change the owner in bulk.

    Rather than using the bulk edit form for this, you can select the records in a grid and use the Assign option
