UI: Can't set opportunity's account using lookup dialog RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    I want to set the assigned account of the new opportunity record. This goes well if using the lookup filter, but fails if using the lookup dialog. No customizations made on that field.

    If trying to do the same with the contact entitty (parent customer) everything works fine.

    What's wrong?

  • check whether do you written  any custom code for that lookup like filtering or etc..

    Is it possible that you do not have full access on "accounts that you do not own" ? Maybe you are missing or do not have organization privilege  on append and append to access rights of account.

    Do following to check this, select the checkbox "Show My accounts", then select an account and add it.

    Also, you can check security roles assigned to you.
