Microsoft Press Readiness Review Suite

Question
-
I'm attempting to install Microsoft Press Readiness Review Suite, but it doesn't work. I have Vista Ultimate X64. I get an Application Message when I try to open the application: "An unanticipated error has occured in the aplication.Display. [MsLocalWare] [339] Component 'Vsocx6.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." Can anyone tell me how to get this thing up and running? Thank You!Friday, August 14, 2009 10:45 PM

Exactly the same issue and had. I'm running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and running the application in Compatibility Mode was the solution that worked for me.

Have the same problem but not answered. This seems to be "an Action passed is an Action complete" answer. Useless for us folks who follow.Friday, September 17, 2010 3:18 AM

I had this same issue in Windows 7 Home Premium, but I was able to work around this by running the application in compatibility mode for Windows XP (SP2).Friday, November 19, 2010 10:04 PM
