  • I have recently started to receive an notice that my Office Professional 2007 is not genuine, when I go into Word or Excel, Option, Validation they all come up as validated.

It is a genuine MS upgrade product from PC World.

The OGA Notifications Utility is notifying you that your computer has a nongenuine installation of Office Enterprise 2007 installed (bold type above).  In order to correct this problem, go to Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a Program, and uninstall Office Enterprise 2007.  Restart the computer twice, then visit www.microsoft.com.genuine and click on the Validate Office button to verify that the issue is corrected.

You also have two other Office program installed.  The report is showing that Office Project 2003 is a genuine retail license, so no problems there.  It also shows that your installation of Office Professional 2007 is a retail installation, but since the software has not yet been activated, the utility cannot verify that it is Genuine.  Aftert completing the above steps to uninstall Office Enterprise 2007, go to your start menu and locate the entry for Office Professional 2007 and open one of the programs, for example, Word.  At that point, you should see the Activation Wizard prompting you to activate.  If not, click on the Office button, then on Word Options, then on Resources, then click on Activate Office.  Once activated, revisit www.microsoft.com/genuine and click the Validate Office button to verify that your retail license for Office is Genuine.

  • Darin, thank you very much, I managed to sort it out, but I had to activate it over the telephone to complete the activation.
