Office 2007 Ultimate - activatated or not??

Question
-
Hi,
In early 2008, I trialed Office 2007 Ultimate online and then a month or two later bought the product (came with DVD) but didn't install from DVD but used license from the product to activate my copy of Office 2007 before the trial period expired. Everything seemed to activate just fine.
Just yesterday I went to install MS Excel 2003 MSN Stock Quote Macro (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=485FCCD8-9305-4535-B939-3BF0A740A9B1&displaylang=en) which then runs through "Genuine Office Validation" and it comes back and says "Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007: Product Not Activated." So I follow the online "Next Steps" (takes me here http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA012334341033.aspx) and it says go into MS Excel 2007 Office Button | Excel Options | Resources | Activate which I do and it says "This product has already been activated."
So thank you very much... I'm prevented from installing an Excel macro off MS site because it says my MS Office 2007 Ultimate is not activated (but it was). And then when I follow its advice on how to activate it pops up dialog saying "already activated". So now I'm stuck.
I ran MGA diags (output below).
Please advise.
Thanks.

Andy Fraley,
Your issue appears to be outside the scope of the Genuine Advantage forum. In an attempt to assist I would like to provide the following steps: Open My Computer located on your desktop
1. Go to: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\
NOTE: The application data file may be hidden. Use the Tools drop down menu and follow: Folder Options->View->Hidden Files and Folders->Show Hidden Files and Folders to show the folder. Please re-hide the files once you have completed all the steps.
2. Right click the data.dat file, then click “Delete”.
3. This data.dat file is for Office (not OGA)
4. Once the file has been deleted, open an Office application such as MS Word and “ACTIVATE” it.
5. If product activation was successful try the Office validation again by at : http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/Validate.aspx?displaylang=eng
Should you need further guidance please post your question/s to the Windows XP General newsgroup forum located here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?query=activation&dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&cat=en-us-ms-winxp&lang=en&cr=US&pt=&catlist=B0DE109D-10E1-4C3C-BCC9-8EB7A22FC6A0&dglist=&ptlist=&exp=&sloc=en-us.
Thank you for visiting the forum.
