I recommend 70-483. This is a "current" exam, which is based on the last version of C#. When you pass this exam you will get a certification as "Specialist" in the corresponding technology.
On the other hand, 70-536 is an "old" exam. It doesn't provide you with any certification by itself. It was a requirement for the old certifications for the framework 2.0 and 3.5, but it had to be combined with a second exam (such as web or desktop applications) to attain a certification. Also, I believe that it has already been retired, so you can't take this exam anymore.

Thank you sir... after that exam 70-483 should I focus on .net framework 4.0 or 4.5 because this are latest technology... Is this better certificate for making career in .net platform as well as working on Desktop apps?Monday, May 19, 2014 11:03 AM

Yes, you probably should focus on the latest technology. The "old" exams are being retired step by step. The new exams have the same exam numbers regardless of whether they use the framework 4.0 or 4.5. They are simply being upgraded by changing some of the questions to cover the newer versions of Visual Studio.
And yes, these exams are good for making a cereer in .Net and Desktop apps... as long as by "desktop apps" you are thinking about Windows Store Apps. If you want older applications (WPF) then you should consider the exams that are based on Visual Studio 2010. I believe that you can still take them and they have not yet been retired. If you want even older classical "Winforms" applications, then you are out of luck: the exams that covered this technology have been retired.
