How to hide records from Team members but not with Team Manager? CRM 2011 RRS feed

    Hi Techies,

    We have a sales team all the users belongs to one Business unit, security should be implemented in such a way that team should not be able to see each other's records but manager should be able to see others records? 

    What is the correct approach to do this?

    HI Sreenivasulus,

    The correct approach would be to set up two different roles. One for Sales Team and one for Sales Manager. As sales manager would be part of the sales team too, he would have both the roles and the role with highest privileges will over-right the one with lower one.
