Live Mesh wants me to sign up again? RRS feed

  • I just upgraded to the Beta client of Live Mesh on all of my computers that had previously been using it, but now whenever I go to the Live Mesh site, it wants me to "sign up" again, but then says that all slots have been filled and that I'll be notified.

    Is this just a glitch in the beta? Did I miss something? Is anyone else having the same problem?

  • You should be able to remedy this problem by closing all browsers and blowing away your browser cache and then trying again.  Please let me know if you need specific instructions on how to blow away the browser cache.

  • That did the trick.

    Was there some sort of information from the tech preview being stored in a cookie that couldn't be intepreted by the Beta, or did I have an invalid session state somehow, or what was the issue behind it? Is it something that could potentially be a recurring problem?
