Port 80 Alternative RRS feed

  • I changed ISP's and now port 80 is blocked. need a detailed giiude on how to change it to a new port on the server so the media works on my xxxxxxx.homeserver.com site and my phone connector app. I can view shared folders but I can not stream media. Please help me.

  • The problem with that is that the Windows Phone app uses unsecured HTTP for streaming; only the authentication handshake is secured.

    For the OP: I don't think changing the port in one location will help. You need the phone app to use the new port, and I don't believe it will.

    Also you can type https:\\xxxxx.homeserver.com:443

    The 443 is another listening port the WHS uses
