IE8 Favorites Are Very Slow - They Freeze, Hang, Hog Resources, Etc.

Question
-
What is going on with IE8 Favorites?! My mouse hangs, freezes, doesn't flow smoothly. This is a really BAD BUG! Will it ever be fixed? Or is there something I can do to turn off the extra garbage that I don't want?
BTW, I am a web developer and I need to use IE8 since that is the latest from MSFT, and since my company is a Microsoft shop I need to be able to tell my customers that they can comfortably use the latest products from MSFT. Make sense? So I cannot revert back to IE7 or use FireFox, etc.
Thanks,

Also while I'm on the IE8 rant, can you please do something about the intermittent problem where IE8 magically and apparently randomly opens multiple tabs all at once for stuff I have not clicked. It appears to sometimes open actual Favorites and sometimes it opens random garbage. I do not have Suggested Sites turned on.Thursday, September 24, 2009 9:50 PM
