Single Sign on installation and Configuration RRS feed

  • Good day All

I was recently tasked with setting up the Single Sign on (SSO) for CRM on my network. I am using a Windows Server 2008 R2 O/S

We currently use the Hosted CRM at Microsoft and I have found a procedure for loading it. However, I seem to have missed something. I am using

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/girishr/archive/2012/09/05/dynamics-crm-identity-federation-demo-setup.aspx

I have loaded on a server the Role of Active Directory Certificate Services abd created a cert called federationServer.mydomain..com and binded it to the default web site port 443

I did NOT add the Active Directory Federation Services, But loaded the Microsoft online services sign-in assistant ADFS 2.0 software along with the msoidcli_64bit.exe . The procure says to download and install Microsoft Online Services Module (64-bit): http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-enterprises/ff652560.aspx. I could not find this.

I have loaded the Federation Services Role on a separate 2012 Server just to be sure, also when I run the Remote connectivity test i get the following

"The domain isn't a federated domain."

This thing is very confusing so any help would be greatly appreciated
