Onecare often is running a scan while I am on battery. This really drags down my time on battery and I cant figure out a way to stop a scan in progress without going to task manager and killing processes. Any ideas?
Other than trying to set the scan schedule for times when you know you will be on a/c power I don't know of a way to avoid this.Jim - MVP Windows Live - Forum Moderator - Live One Care - Live Mesh

Thanks for the follow-up JimR1. That's what I've tried to do, I figured that would be the case.
I dont know if you are able to forward suggestions to the Morro project people, but that would be a great idea for the new system. There are other antivirus products out there that seem to be aware of the power state on laptops. I guess soon it wont matter a whole lot with solid state drives coming down the line...
