Unable to open PPS files, pictures and other attachments in Windows live hotmail since 2 days ago

  Suddenly 2 or 3 days ago, I have not been able to open attachments of any kind in Windows Live Hotmail, can someone please tell me how to solve this problem. When I tranfer the e-mails to Outlook, then I can open the attachments, but been using Hotmail as my work related site, need to access pass attachments on e-mails received in the past which I was saving for my Condo work, I am retired.  Thank you
