Validation problem after 9 months

Question
-
I've been running Windows 7 from just over 9 months now (bought a 3 pack family pack from Costco). It's been running fine up until just the other day, when I believe an update to the Microsoft Security essentials did something to ruin my activation. I've tried to re-activate and claims that the copy of Windows 7 is not genuine. I've gone through my other computers (1 at this time, the 3rd has HDD problems) and it is not have the same problems (although my wife isn't as up on downloading updates as I am).
I ran the Diagnostic Tool and here's what it shows. I also trying to resolve the issue, went online to validate, no luck, also went into the product key and re-entered it and attempted to run the validation and received an error, which I thought was strange. Error details: 0x80070005 Description: Access is Denied (not sure what access it's looking for but the User Management Control box never appears, and I am an administrator on this machine).
Here's the Diagnostic Tool report:

Something is hampering the software protection platform from functioning, the hronline error in your report denotes an unkown cause for the non-genuine status.
Please try running the following instructions, if they should fail then follow the link at the bottom for a no cost support incident.
SFC/system restore
type cmd in the search box of the start menu, right click on the icon that appears and type sfc /scannow without the qoutes and press enter, allow SFC to run, reboot when directed. If you get any error messages write them down exactly as they appear. After rebooting go to www.microsoft.com/genuine and attempt to validate.
If that does not work then type system restore in the search box, click on the resulting program and follow the wizards prompts to restore to a previous point prior to the non-genuine status.
If that does not work then start a no cost wga tech support incident at the following link http://support.microsoft.com/gp/contactwga

Well ran the sfc and this is what I received; a message that stated Verification 100% complete. Windws Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
One of the first things I did before even posting here was to see about system restore, and apparently, I have that turned off. So I guess it's off to the wga tech support incident, unless you have something else.

Yeah I contacted tech support already, I didn't realize it took me to the same page that I was at prevously. They directed me to here, or to pay for a genuine copy of Windows 7.
That was even after I had attached the above listed information into the contact form. So if you could suggest something else, I'd really appreciate some help.

You didn't fill the form in properly - make sure that you pick the option saying that it's an activation/WGA issue.

I really apologize for my ineptness but when I go to the site, at the top of the site it reads:
North America Contact Options
This page offers only customer service, not technical support.
Right below that it gives two links, the first, what is technical support (which is a definition) and the second, contact a support professional by e-mail, online or phone, which is the one I choose, when I click on that it takes me to the Geniune Microsoft Software, submit a technical support request. Option #2 (or step #2) is open Microsoft Help and Support and I click on that and it only offers email, which is fine, I click continue and it takes me to begin entry of my issue, in a form manner, as you suggested, however, on that form there is no option to pick about activation/WGA issue. What am I doing wrong?
