WEC2013 RasDial Issue

Question
-
Hey All
We are currenltly seeing an issue with RASDial.
We are using RASDial to create a Direct serial connection between two devices.
The first time we connect the connection it works well and we can ping in both direction.
The problem occurs when the connection is dropped at the other end OR hung up at our end.
On the reconnect the PPP layer connects fine but the IP layer does not. ipconfig report the the "Media State" is "Media lower layer down"
We have tried deleting the RASBook entry and we have tried rebinding both the Direct Connection adapter and the Asyncmap adapter in ndisconfi, but to no avail.
Any other ideas or posible solutions are gratefully received.
Regards
Chad Cumberland
