OneCare and Win7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I know it's not an officialy supported OS, but any help with installing it, did an upgrade and Win7 'thought' it was installed, well it Kinda was (service was running) but that was it, it was not actualy doing much. Ran the cleanup to uninstall it and just tried to install it again using 7's compatibility app, seemed to be working, but failed.

    Any ideas are appreciated

  • My suspicion is that OneCare.2.5 will not work on Windows 7. Further, no a/v software is ever likely to work in compatibility mode due to the hooks made into the OS.
