Help with WHS error messages RRS feed

  • WHS worked fine for us for a year, this week the icon in the tray is red on our computers and it says health is critical, also that conflicts with shared folders.   Very frustrating as we can't access anything in our backups and now it's not backing anything up either.  

    Ran toolkit and error report, CAB #678214133.   We tried reinstalling connector software, and rebooting the server multiple times.  The disc check said all were fine.  

    Suggestions as to how to proceed?  Many thanks.

    Did you run chkdsk /r on all of the hard drives in the server?  If not, please see the FAQ post:  How to check all the drives in your server for errors.  If you did, what is the exact error message(s) you see in the Console (once you click on the Critical Health Status icon)?
