Connection Problem. My router is fighting with one care for firewall priority. RRS feed

  • Help I don't know what I did but now I can't get on line. It seems that I have to let my wireless rouetr do the firewall, because it seems that one care and the linksys wireless router are fighting with each other. How do I set up linksys N router to take priority over one care firewall

  • The firewall on your router and the firewall in OneCare are independent of each other and should not conflict. There is no priority to deal with, nor would you want there to be.

    I suspect that what is happening is that the router is not giving the PC an IP address and DNS settings in a timely fashion due to the OneCare firewall being in restricted Public mode when you are trying to initially connect. I recommend contact support for help with this:
