Feature Request - Contex menu Icon removal RRS feed

  • Could you add a way to remove the oncare icon from the context menu. I dont like icons in my contex menus and just find it annoying. I know its a little complaint but its something that does bug me.

  • I'm having the opposite problem suddenly my context menu doesn't offer the option of "scan with one care". I tried to do a system restore and nothing can someone tell me what to do or where can i find an answer?

  • What operating system? When did you first notice the problem and had you used the option successfully prior? Did anything change with a new program or update being installed prior to the problem appearing? The context menu is a registry entry for Explorer. Something may have bumped it away or removed it.

  • I have a vaio VGN-AW125J with vista home premium 64bit and a NVIDIA GFORCE 9600 GT. I have only two months with it, and not long ago the menu was working fine, maybe two weeks. I've been installing a lot of programs that I had. That's why I tried to do a system restore using a restore point from more than two weeks ago, and nothing still the same problem. Plus another strange happened to me, like three days ago when I opened internet explorer it kept asking permission for all my plugins again.

  • That's odd. Something appears to have messed with your settings.
    I would try a reinstall of OneCare to get it hooked back in correctly again.
    Use the cleanup tool in between the uninstall and reinstall. And make sure you know the subscription LiveID (Help/About in OneCare) as that will be needed to activate again after the reinstall.
