Custom Thumbnail Programming in Windows XP

Question
-
Hi, I am creating a cross stitch application for Windows XP Vista & 7. The software creates cross stitch design files. I would like to know how to enable windows explorer to show thumbnails of the design. The easiest way for me would be to include a small bitmap preview of the image in the cross stitch design file, then somehow enable windows explorer to show the bitmap when the files are viewed as thumbnail view.
Can anyone give me advice on where to start?Sunday, January 17, 2010 5:45 AM
