  • Question

  • Hello,

I am running into a similar issue that many have before me regarding the use of sandboxes for Azure in Microsoft Learn/Training.

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/db65d6e0-c4c9-45a6-bba2-e57ddd6beed9/ms-learn-sandbox-creation-error?forum=WAVirtualMachinesforWindows

As I was unable to use my GitHub account, being that it is a college email, I created a new outlook email using my name. When I progressed to the "Core Cloud Services - Introduction to Azure" module, I was unable to move forward because of the sandbox coming up unauthorized. I then appealed, as the option was given to me, but found a day later that the option had been removed and was told again that my sandbox was unauthorized.

In attempt to fix the issue, I contacted various Microsoft support services and was told to make a support ticket for Azure. As I am a senior in college and looking to use these training services for future employment, it is important to me that I be able to resume using the modules.

Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from someone soon.

  • None worked for me, as I created an Outlook.com account, as suggested in your list of solutions.

  • I have not been able to use the sandboxes and have tried on two PCs with two different Microsoft accounts @hotmail and @outlook.  None of the suggestions has worked and I have raised it on the feedback using this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/support/troubleshooting#report-feedback but no reply from Microsoft so far and it has been a few days so not expecting much as it says there will be no reply (hoping that means instant response)

This is the module I am currently working on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/learn/modules/intro-to-azure-virtual-machines/3-create-a-vm it is very difficult without the sandbox access as there is no practical element to the training

Microsoft please check into this as it is not isolated cases
