windows live movie maker problem

    Question

  • I experience a strange movie maker crash when attempting to edit large video files.

    what am i doing:

playing world of warcraft, recoring the game play with Fraps. This program splits the recording into several "small files" of up to 3.7 GB each. since the recording is pretty long(12+ mins) there are around 4 or so of these files.

when i use movie maker to edit those small files into one movie, the program crashes. i drag one part (lets say it has 3.7 GB) and the movie maker instantly crashes. It has no problem with smaller files.

what is even more peculiar is that i used to edit large files like those without any sort of error a few weeks back.
