AMD64 CONTEXT VectorRegisters RRS feed

  • Question

  • I presume that, as %ymm0's lower 128 bits are stored in %xmm0 SSE register, that the AMD64 CONTEXT VectorRegisters[26] maps to the upper 128 bits, and is offset the same as the beginning of FltSave. Is that correct? What is with the extra storage that maps over top the XMM_SAVE_AREA32 before the XmmRegisters begin? It is incredibly inobvious from reading the header (and moreso from reading MSDN documentation).

  • Hi Nathan,

I'm moving this thread to "Where is the forum for..." forum, since this issue is little related to Visual C++, and you will get good suggestion about which forum you can get better answer in "Where is the forum for..." forum.

    Best Regards,
